A response to personal experience during the Covid-19 pandemic, using found imagery and illustration to create a publication that reflects the frustration and confusion of that time.


The title, Small Death, comes from the term "La petite mort" — to mean a brief loss or weakening of consciousness. A fitting metaphor for collective disorientation, the publication uses expressive typography, collage, and illustration to articulate what was difficult to put into words.
